We are interested in learning together, sharing the work that we do and celebrating community history and cultural heritage.  Our focus is Munree Cemetery research and maintaining protection of 250 burials on the cemetery grounds. Munree Cemetery is a cultural history of African Americans who were sharecroppers and tenant farmers. We are descendants and relatives of the buried names at Munree Cemetery.  The surrounding community is important to our mission and goals at Munree. We want to hear your stories too. We ask that you help and join our efforts to care about Munree Cemetery. We want to make difference in the living environment to express how we can acknowledge our ancestors and remember the humanity of mankind.
